"This is my second experience with Touch of Life Physical Therapy and my results are once again excellent. This second referral from my orthopedic surgeon is for shoulder pain (which has improved since starting treatment); however, the unexpected benefit was the elimination of the chronic pain in my neck and back. "I came across this place from their instagram account! I scheduled a massage because I had pain in some areas of my body. Since becoming a mom, I hold a lot of stress in my shoulders and lower back. I tried several different treatments and therapies. I found that the combination of massage therapy and fascial counterstrain Jazmin used really helped calm my nervous system. At the end, she poured me a hot cup of tea in my room which was a very nice surprise. It's conveniently located at the West Hills Medical Plaza on the first floor. "Before seeing David, I was having debilitating migraines 3-5 times a week preventing me from doing any physical activity. I had a migraine going into my first session with David and not only did he relieve my migraine, but since seeing David weekly they have significantly reduced to 1-2 times a week. The Counterstrain technique David and Scott use is based on the premise that all the systems of the body are connected, and our bodies hold on to the stress and trauma we go through. "After suffering from serious migraines for 7 years, I had tried every possible remedy I've heard. From prescription drugs to acupuncture therapy, I had given up all hope that my migraines could ever be cured. I was recommended to Scott by a friend who had been treated by him previously. Feeling optimistic, I decided to give the treatment a shot since I had no other hope and was dealing with 4-5 severe migraines a week. Scott worked on me for 3 hours, releasing pressure from veins and arteries I didn't even know existed. During the procedure, I had one of my regular muscle spasms in my lower intestines. After bringing up the searing pain to Scott, he immediately dealt with this problem by pin pointing a few points of tension. It was very obvious that he knew exactly what he was doing with regards to both the migraine and spasms. 3 months later, I've experienced only 1 headache of regular degree. It was easily cured by Tylenol/Advil and were nothing like my dreadful migraines. This headache was likely a result of me not getting enough water or sleep in my system. I wake up feeling great in the mornings now instead of waking up unable to go to school/work. My diet and sleep schedule have remained the same in the past 3 months and I haven't taken any medicine or other treatment since the 3 hour therapy session. Till this day my friends and family don't believe when I tell them my migraines have ceased. I hope they don't return for a while, but if they ever do begin again, at least I know exactly where to go for remedy. "

"Scott Dreben is a magician - 3 years ago my face was shattered in a horseback riding accident which resulted in multiple reconstructive surgeries and the loss of my left eye. One of my major issues post surgery was a painful lock jaw - thankfully I was sent to Scott! Not only did he unlock my jaw but he has since fixed my old ruptured shoulder, arthritic knee and back issues that come with being highly active into my 70s.
