Scott Dreben

Scott Dreben, MPT, CSC1

Scott Dreben, MPT, CSC1, the Founder of Touch of Life Physical Therapy, holds a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Northridge with a major in Nutrition. After working with a fantastic physical therapy practice for several years, Scott went on to open his own practice with his wife, Deanna, in 2005. Touch of Life Physical Therapy was born. Since then, Scott has dedicated himself to enhancing his skills through continuing education coursework that emphasize a comprehensive, holistic approach to treatment. His extensive knowledge and manual therapy education has led him to specialize in Counterstrain as his primary hands on method to address all physical problems within the body. Scott is a firm believer in the ever expanding knowledge of healing modalities and is committed to keeping pace with the newest research and professional techniques in his field. Further, he maintains an active professional dialogue with colleagues in related disciplines in order to ensure that his patients receive the highest, and most thorough, standard of care.

David Fein

David Fein, DPT

David Fein, DPT, originally from San Rafael, California, holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Baylor University. He has over a decade of experience in the field of rehabilitation, including both clinical practice and clinical research. His extensive experience in manual therapy includes 7 years of advanced training in Fascial Counterstrain with the Counterstrain Academy and The Jones Institute, as well as Visceral Manipulation training from the Barral Institute. His therapeutic exercise training includes teacher training courses in Functional Patterns, Pilates, and The Gyrotonic Method. To treat the effects of stress which often complicate physical therapy treatments, he continues an in-depth study and practice of somatic therapies, including Qigong, The Feldenkrais Method, and new developments in the continued evolution of somatic practices. In his freetime, David loves to surf, dance, and train martial arts, bringing experience working with athletes in various sports. David's clinical focus is broad, having found that varied pathologies, from chronic pain due to autoimmune disorders to common sports injuries and back pain, similarly respond to targeted treatments that decrease inflammation and improve reflexive muscular coordination.

Emilee Erzrumly

Emilee Erzrumly, DPT

Emilee Erzrumly, DPT holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge and has a passion for health, wellness, and human anatomy/physiology. She combines evidence based research into her physical therapy practice and stays up to date on the most relevant interventions in order to deliver top quality care for her patients. Emilee has previous experience in various clinical settings including outpatient orthopedics, aquatic therapy, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and spinal cord injury research. She currently specializes in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy and continues to expand her knowledge through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She finds fulfillment in helping women and men prevail over their pelvic floor dysfunction so they can get back to living their lives without limitations.

Jazmin Lopez

Jazmin Lopez, CMT

Jazmin Lopez earned her certification from A2Z Health Massage Therapy School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy and Sports massage. She has experience in clinical and community settings and has gained the ability to work with athletes, children, adults and senior citizens. Jazmin continues to expand her manual treatment skills through coursework and training in Counterstrain. She enjoys sunny California hikes, cooking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

James Huynh

James Huynh, Lead Aide

James holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from California State University, Northridge. He has experience working with different demographics throughout his undergraduate studies which ensure that patients are always in safe qualified hands. James carries out the therapeutic exercises and modalities uniquely prescribed by our therapists for each patient. On his days off, James enjoys playing basketball and video games


Jana Metken

Jana Metken, Office Manager

Jana Metken started with Touch of Life as a patient and came on as our Office and Billing Manager in 2009. Coming from a background in finance and business, she easily transitioned into a medical setting. Jana employs a personal and comprehensive approach with each and every patient ensuring that they are fully informed and taken care of on every level. Her unique and holistic approach to patient care is a result of dealing with her own medical issues for many years and experiencing the process from both the patient and provider's perspective. Jana is passionate about food transparency and enjoys cultivating relationships with farmers. If she's not in the office, you'll find her on the open road with her pup, Nala.
