Scott Dreben, MPT

Scott Dreben, MPT, the Founder of Touch of Life Physical Therapy, holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Chapman University. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Northridge with a major in Nutrition. After working with a fantastic physical therapy practice for several years, Scott went on to open his own practice with his wife, Deanna, in 2005. Touch of Life Physical Therapy was born. Since then, Scott has dedicated himself to enhancing his skills through continuing education coursework that emphasize a comprehensive, holistic approach to treatment. His extensive knowledge has enabled him to use a variety of different techniques to care for his patients including, but not limited to, Strain-Counterstrain, Fascial-Counterstrain™, Myofascial Release and Primal Reflex Release Technique™. Scott is a firm believer in the ever expanding knowledge that Physical Therapy has to offer and is committed to keeping pace with the newest research and professional techniques in his field. Further, he maintains an active professional dialogue with colleagues in related disciplines in order to ensure that his patients receive the highest, and most thorough, standard of care.


Christine

Christine Kearney, DPT

Christine graduated from Chapman University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2008. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Child Development from California State University, Northridge in 2004. She has worked in various clinical settings, including but not limited to, orthopedics and pelvic health rehabilitation. Christine believes physical therapy is about treating the person as a whole and being able to give individualized attention to every patients’ needs. She is a Graston Technique® Provider and is committed to learning new and innovative techniques, including Strain Counterstrain. She is currently working towards her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practice Certification. During her free time, she enjoys being a mom, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new healthy recipes.

Brent Cambre, MPT

Brent Cambre, MPT holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of New Orleans with a major in Philosophy and History. His journey in the art of healing has spanned 20 years, initially inspired while traveling abroad in Budapest, Hungary. He has worked in a variety of settings and was exposed to the work of Acupuncturists, Chinese Herbalists, Physical Therapists, and Osteopaths. Brent believes in the healing power of the mind-body connection in conjunction with the hands-on techniques he has learned, including CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Lymphatic drainage. Brent continues to expand his knowledge of gentle hands-on techniques and is incorporating Fascial Counterstrain into his practice.


Jana Metken, Office Manager

Jana Metken, Office Manager

Jana Metken started with Touch of Life as a patient and came on as our Office and Billing Manager in 2009. Coming from a background in finance and business, she easily transitioned into a medical setting. Jana employs a personal and comprehensive approach with each and every patient ensuring that they are fully informed and taken care of on every level. After dealing with her own medical issues for several years and observing the process from both the patient and provider’s perspective she became interested in transitioning into healthcare. Her unique and holistic perspective on patient care has prompted her to pursue a degree in Naturopathic Medicine with an emphasis in biological nutrition. Further, Jana is passionate about clean eating and food transparency and hopes to share her extensive knowledge with the world in her own healthy holistic eating blog.
